My lovely and beautiful wife, Merja, was thinking about having aboriginal art on the walls at our home and asked me to do some. I gave it a thought and soon I just had no desire to reproduce these beautiful paintings and original stories. I could not copy what i had seen at NGV's show Living Water (2012).
Doing Aboriginal - hm - I then borrowed a book, Artists of the Western Desert by Ken McGregor with portraits and pictures of aboriginal artists. Maybe my contribution here would be something about these beautiful people who paint their lives, habits and stories, Dreams on canvas. So I did some to salute something original and beautiful.
